International Youth Federation announces Shkar Nazdar as Special Representative in Iraqi Kurdistan 

Gomel, Belarus:  In official statement issued today, the Executive Board announced that Ms Shkar Nazdar has been appointed as Special Representative to Iraqi Kurdistan.

Our vision is to foster and promote youth empowerment and sustainable development all across Iraq, and to raise the values of social responsibility, environmental and culture awareness among the society to enable it to take action towards better future. The youth have a crucial role to play in shaping the future of the area, have that there is no doubt. They have proven that they can be powerful agents of change.

Mr Shkar Nazdar is young professional passionate about youth empowerment, he represented Iraq in UN Model Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan as a Young Diplomat in 2016. Also he is a member of Young Professionals in Foreign Policy from. He was alumni of Erasmus Mundus program and fellowship for one year in University of Warsaw, Poland in 2014. Mr Shkar graduated from English Department, University of Duhok, Iraq, as well as studied courses about leadership and public policy in the United States.


The International Youth Federation is an international non-profit youth organizations network governed by the present Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is neutral politically, and non-denominational, aim to empowering youth worldwide through improving the status of youth and promote cooperation between youth organizations in different countries.
