Yemen gained membership of the International Youth Federation

London, United Kingdom:  In a statement issued today, the Executive Board announced that the Republic of Sudan has gained the permanent membership of the International Youth Federation.

Half of Yemen’s 26 million people are under the age of 18. The current humanitarian situation means youth networks have lost their communication channels with each other and it has become very difficult for them to meet or to arrange large activities. Our vision at the IYF is to enable Yamani’s youth to get their voices heard and to give talented and motivated young people the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge to actively contribute to the development of their societies.

Executive Board announces Hamza Al Fareh as International Youth Federation Representative in The Republic of Yemen

Mr. Hamza is a young leader, activist and youth empowerment advocate passionate about youth issues, human rights, and politics. He actively participates in community initiatives, national and international organizations for fighting against corruptions and strengthen good governance.

He pointedly strives to raise the public awareness, nationalism and human rights. Mr. Hamza studied Arabic and Translation in Sana’a University.
