International Youth Federation announces Alexandra Small as Regional Director for Americas & Caribbean 

London, United Kingdom: In a statement issued today, the IYF Executive Board announced that Ms Alexandra Small appointed as Regional Director for Americas & Caribbean.  

“I am glad that we are expanding our operations to the Americas continent and the Caribbean, uniting youth efforts in this region for the benefit of the people and the planet” said Ms Krystel SANEH, President of the International Youth Federation.

“As part of the continued improvement in the structure of the International Youth Federation, we are excited to welcome Ms. Small in our executive team. She will bring a tremendous amount of enthusiasm to the region”. Said Ambassador Saeed ZAKI, IYF Secretary-General.

About her recent appointment, Ms. Small said: “Recognizing the possibilities within youth presently can lead them to be considered not the leaders of tomorrow but rather leaders of today." 

Ms. Alexandra Small is a young professional, passionate about international relations, youth empowerment, public health, and development economics. She earned regional and international experience through her coursework as she focused on maternal healthcare practices revolving around HIV/AIDs in Swaziland, Africa. Also, she got the opportunity to work with a team to formulate a sustainable business venture in a village twenty kilometers outside of Mogadishu, Somalia. Ms. Small studied Global Affairs at Yale College - Yale University.
