London, United Kingdom: The Executive Office of the International Youth Federation announced today that Ms. Fatima Al Shubaili of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been appointed Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa.
Ms. Fatima is a trailblazer in strategic partnerships, stakeholder management, and international affairs, shaping the future of global business and diplomacy. Her profound expertise and commitment to empowering Saudi women have placed her at the forefront of transformative change. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Arabic, Alshubaili exemplifies cross-cultural leadership, combining governance, foreign investments, and strategic foresight to redefine business and diplomatic landscapes.
Prior to this appointment, she held pivotal roles at NEOM, including being part of the CEO and Chief of Staff’s office, where she contributed to strategy and stakeholder management for Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. Earlier in her career, she represented Saudi interests internationally at the United Nations Saudi Arabia Mission, breaking new ground for Saudi women in diplomacy.
As a Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, Ms. Alshubaili will play a vital role in advancing youth empowerment across the region through innovative initiatives and collaborative programs. She will focus on building strategic partnerships with governments and regional institutions to promote sustainable development, support youth participation in decision-making processes, and create opportunities for young people to grow and innovate on both regional and global levels.
She holds a master’s degree in Financial Analysis and Political Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
