Switzerland gained membership of the International Youth Federation 

London, United Kingdom:  In a statement issued today, the Executive Board announced that Switzerland had gained the permanent membership of the International Youth Federation. 

Our vision at the IYF is to enable the Swiss youth to get their voices heard and to give talented and motivated young people the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge to actively contribute to the development of their societies. 

Executive Board announces Lisa Gisler as International Youth Federation Representative in Switzerland

Ms. Lisa Gisler is a young professional, youth and sports advocate, passionate about sports, youth empowerment, and marketing. She was a Youth Olympic athlete and a Young Ambassador for Switzerland during the Summer Youth Olympic Games 2014 in Nanjing, China. She experienced the power of empowered young people through the Sports and the Olympic values.

As a Youth Olympic champion, Ms. Gisler competed at the first Winter YOG in Innsbruck in 2012 and won the gold in Curling.

About her recent appointment, she said: “I believe that the youth of today is the power of the future. I love to follow new challenges to create a better future".

Ms. Lisa holds a Master degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor degree in Psychology from University of Bern.
