Syria gained membership of the International Youth Federation 

London, United Kingdom:  In a statement issued today, the Executive Board announced that Syria has gained the permanent membership of the International Youth Federation. 

In the challenge conditions which facing Syrian community leaving youths feeling overwhelmed and insecure, We believe that the decision made today by the Executive Board is so important at this moment to provide Syrian Youth with the help needed to get their voices heard and to build a better future.

Executive Board announces Sarah Zein as International Youth Federation Representative in Syria

Ms. Sarah is one of the very first few girls who rode bicycles in Syria, an advocate for human rights and passionate about gender issues, co-founder of the National Biking Initiative “Yalla Let’s Bike” since 2014, she was a former girl scout and previously worked as a life skills trainer at UNHCR, writer and film actress of “Womb” short movie produced on the occasion of International Women's Day (2017) and award-winning in UNFPA short movies competition. 

Ms. Sarah studied French Language and Literature at Damascus University.
