Press Release: International Youth Federation announces Ebtihal Alkanzy as Special Regional Coordinator
London, United Kingdom: The International Youth Federation Executive Office announced today the appointment of Ms. Ebtihal Alkanzy as Special Regional Coordinator for the Middle East.
“On behalf of the IYF, I heartfully welcome the appointment of Ms. Ebtihal as the new IYF Special Regional Coordinator for the Middle East. We are excited about this appointment and the extension of our operations, and we look forward to the wealth of experiences Ms. Ebtihal shall bring to the region as well as the notable value added she is to bring forth to our operations in the region.” Said Ms. Nidhal Lamraoui, IYF Assistant Secretary General.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve young people through this assignment. I believe that by empowering today's youth, we are creating opportunities which will significantly contribute to a better tomorrow.” Said Ms. Ebtihal Alkanzy, IYF Special Regional Coordinator, in a comment after her appointment.
Ms. Ebtihal is a young Sudanese leader, senior operations specialist, events manager, business developer, fashion designer, model and a stylist passionate about youth empowerment, innovation, and community development. Through her work, she had extensive experience in the field of operations, academia and the private sector.
Through her passion and profession, she worked to empower youth through many projects and initiatives, which aim to create new opportunities for young people. Also, her advocacy efforts helped her to promote women empowerment’s initiatives.
Ms. Ebtihal holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Abu Dhabi University.
