Press Release: Malawi gained membership of the International Youth Federation

London, United Kingdom:  In a statement issued today, the Executive Board announced that Malawi had gained the permanent membership of the International Youth Federation.  

Our vision at the IYF is to enable young people in Malawi to get their voices heard and giving talented and motivated young people the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge to actively contribute to the development of their societies.  

Executive Board announces Philip GAMA as International Youth Federation Representative in Malawi  

Mr. Philip Gama is a young professional leader with a passion for development, transformative leadership, education, and youth, women's empowerment and climate action. He has served in different portfolios both nationally and regionally. He has been implementing a various project to empower women and youth in partnership with communities in Malawi. Also, he has a wide experience in the development sector as a livelihoods development consultant. His work for the past four years has focused on designing of projects, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. He has also been active in the fields of Education and climate change. 

Mr. Philip Holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Malawi.
