What is the programme about?
The EHP programme offers a structured development programme in a highly collaborative environment, where participants can apply their experience and knowledge to UNHCR’s mandate. It enables participants to directly contribute to international action that protects people forced to flee their homes because of conflict and persecution. EHP participants join UNHCR at P2 level (UN grading scale) for a two-year cohort programme. They are deployed to the field after successfully completing a comprehensive residential orientation course.

Why join the EHP programme?
It provides an excellent grounding for a career in the humanitarian sector and related fields. If you are looking for an international career in a renowned global organization, where you can make a real contribution to refugee issues and events, this programme could be the right starting point for you.
