Pakistan gained membership of the International Youth Federation

Minsk, Belarus:  In a statement issued today, the Executive Board announced that Pakistan has gained the permanent membership of the International Youth Federation. 

Our vision is to connect Pakistani youth with the rest of the globe, as this country is full of potential in the form of youth. More than 67 of Pakistan population is below the age of 29, what need is the proper utilization of this energy in right direction.

Executive Board announces Muhammad Farooq as International Youth Federation Representative in Pakistan 

Mr. Muhammad Farooq is young professional passionate about youth, women’s empowerment and human development. Through his foundation named Khadim ul khalalq, he organized dialogues between women and policy makers where local women constituents met their parliamentarian, aiming to enhance political participation of women. This was the first event of its kind at national level. 

Mr Farooq has also organized different sports activities, youth awareness sessions, indigenous communication strategies for members of parliament, connected females with policy makers of Federally Administered Tribal Areas, campaigning/rallying for enrollment of poor and needy students in schools, providing them school kits and uniform and establishing emergency relief camps for the amelioration of internally displaced persons (IDPs). He has enrolled more than 100 out of school children in different local schools, sponsoring their all expenses through local fund raising in Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan.

Muhammad Farooq has two master degrees: Political Science, Journalism and legislative fellowship from United States of America in 2015.
