Press Release: Sierra Leone gained membership of the International Youth Federation

London, United Kingdom:  In a statement issued today, the Executive Board announced that Sierra Leone had gained the permanent membership of the International Youth Federation.  

Our vision at the IYF is to enable young people in Sierra Leone to get their voices heard and giving talented and motivated young people the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge to actively contribute to the development of their societies.  

Executive Board announces Ellen Wongo as International Youth Federation Representative in Sierra Leone

Ellen Wongo is a young leader and activist passionate about youth empowerment and community development. She has worked for several CSOs and NGOs in Sierra Leone and abroad. Through her community engagements, Ellen is committed to serve youth and help them achieve their potentials.  Ms. Ellen holds Master degree in Governance and Leadership from University of Sierra Leone.

It is neutral politically, and non-denominational, aim to empower youth worldwide through improving the status of youth and promote cooperation between youth organizations in different countries.
