18% of our population in Switzerland is below the age of 29 years. The future of Switzerland is going to be determined by those who are between 16 and 29 years of age.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are central in the daily life of IYF. Also, Switzerland fights to reach these goals to end poverty, fight inequality, injustice and climate change by 2030. The work of IYF Switzerland focuses on three SDGs: good health and well-being, decent work and economic growth, and reduced inequalities.
The vision of International Youth Federation is to empower youth across the globe. IYF is committed to bridging the gap between youth and policymaker or decision makers. Youth is an agent of change and IYF strives to utilize this human resource for a greater cause.
