International Youth Federation announces Sofie Mohn (Norwegian) as Regional Director for Europe 

London, United Kingdom: In a statement issued today, the IYF Executive Board announced that Ms Sofie Mohn appointed as Regional Director for Europe.

We are working to ensure that youth are engaged at all policy levels with the principles of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and contribute to the achievement of socially, environmentally and economically.

“The establishment of the EU Regional Administration is one of the core focus at the IYF in line with the other regions, and will be a fantastic development for the whole Europe.” said Ms Krystel SANEH, President of the International Youth Federation. 

“I am sure that Ms. Sofie will be added value for the IYF, as she will lead our operations and across the European States.” Said Ambassador Saeed ZAKI, IYF Secretary General.

In a comment on her recent appointment, Ms. Sofie said: “You empowerment in Europe is becoming increasingly important, as a global change is vital in order to secure a sustainable future. Being appointed the regional director of Europe is an honour, and I am excited to face this challenge alongside the European representatives”.

Ms. Sofie Mohn is a young professional, talent leader passionate about youth development, politics and international relations. Having been educated internationally she developed experience working in diverse and multicultural corporate environments.

Ms. Sofie graduated with Bachelor of Arts and Science at University College London (UCL). She studied International Security, Global Health Policy, International Development and Public Policy, Principles of Public International Law, Gender and Politics, Global Environmental Politics.
