Iraq gained membership of the International Youth Federation 

London, United Kingdom:  In a statement issued today, the Executive Board announced that Iraq has gained the permanent membership of the International Youth Federation. 

In the challenge conditions which facing Iraqi community leaving youths feeling overwhelmed and insecure, We believe that the decision made today by the Executive Board is so important at this moment to provide Iraqi Youth with the help needed to get their voices heard and to build a better future.

Executive Board announces Elaf Al-Qraishi as International Youth Federation Representative in Iraq

Ms. Elaf is a young professional, mentor and sport advocate passionate about youth development, Olympics and community development through sport. Through her career, Ms Elaf dedicated herself for serving youth communities in Iraq through mentoring and capacity building activities. She studied Sports Science at University of Baghdad College of Physical Education and Sports Science.


The International Youth Federation is an international non-profit youth organizations network governed by the present Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is neutral politically, and non-denominational, aim to empowering youth worldwide through improving the status of youth and promote cooperation between youth organizations in different countries.
