International Youth Federation announces Dana Storozuk as Director for the IYF NGO Accreditation Center 

London, United Kingdom:  Today the International Youth Federation named Ms. Dana Storozuk as Director for the IYF NGO Accreditation Center. The decision announced via the IYF Executive Board. 

“Youth-led organizations help shape youth policies and monitor youth situations and hold governments accountable for their duty to empower youth. The IYF Accreditation Center works with youth networks and organizations which help facilitate collaboration among national regional youth bodies’ and strengthen national and global linkages for the benefit of young people.” Said Ambassador Saeed ZAKI, IYF Secretary-General.

“The interaction of youth worldwide was greatly transformed in the current millennia by the continuously emerging organized groups and interests. Youth organizations come in all shapes and sizes, along with their plethora of functions, which includes being agents of youth empowerment to complement efforts of the government and private bodies. Given this context, the International Youth Federation remains true to its commitment to empowering youth for a better world and what best way to do this than to ensure organizational excellence, credibility, accountability, and sustainability through NGO Accreditation. The recent appointment of a competent accreditation Director is a testament to IYF's social obligations." Said Mr. Franclin OLIVA, Chair of the IYF International Relations Commission. 

In a comment on her appointment, Ms. Storozuk said: “Empowering youth on the international level is the key to global social change. By providing young people with a holistic platform for civic engagement, where they can communicate and shape their communities futures together, we enable societies to break cycles that had caused problems in the past”.

Ms. Dana Stotozuk is a young communications professional, passionate about development, youth empowerment, marketing with multinational work experience in the field of international marketing and communications.  She holds Master degree in Marketing and the Media, and Bachelor of Media, Culture and Society (BA) from University of Essex.


The International Youth Federation is an international non-profit youth organizations network governed by the present Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is neutral politically, and non-denominational, aim to empower youth worldwide through improving the status of youth and promote cooperation between youth organizations in different countries.
