Lebanon gained membership of the International Youth Federation 

London, United Kingdom:  In a statement issued today, the Executive Board announced that the Lebanese Republic had gained the permanent membership of the International Youth Federation.

Our vision at the IYF is to enable Lebanese’s youth to get their voices heard and to give talented and motivated young people the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge to actively contribute to the development of their societies.  

Executive Board announces Maryam Nsaif as International Youth Federation Representative in Lebanon 

Ms. Maryam is a young professional, youth advocate and activist passionate about leadership, diplomacy, and international relations, she co-founded the NDU Model United Nations Programme (Lebanon), which she is currently serving as a Secretary-General. Being highly interested in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), she constantly takes on numerous projects in fields such as robotics and telecommunications and is an advocate of empowering more women to enter the STEM-based sectors.

As a part of her experiences, she previously worked on the mapping of youth interventions in Lebanese Ministries and Municipalities with regards to the youth policy, she believes in the importance of having a platform that enables and facilitates the empowerment of youth.
Ms. Maryam studies Mechanical Engineering at Notre Dame University - Louaize (NDU).


The International Youth Federation is an international non-profit youth organizations network governed by the present Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is neutral politically, and non-denominational, aim to empower youth worldwide through improving the status of youth and promote cooperation between youth organizations in different countries.
