Executive Board announces Rowan Saeed as International Youth Federation Representative in Sudan
London, United Kingdom: In a statement issued today, the International Youth Federation announces the appointment of Dr. Rowan Saeed as International Youth Federation Representative in the Republic of Sudan.
Our vision at the IYF is to enable Sudanese’s youth to get their voices heard and to give talented and motivated young people the opportunity to acquire the skills and knowledge to actively contribute to the development of their societies.
Dr. Rowan is a young leader, Youth Advocate passionate about community development, innovation, youth, and women empowerment.
Before joining the IYF, she worked for three years with the International Association of Dental Students (IADS), and also as Sustainable Development Goals ‘SDGs Advocate’ with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Sudan. Also, being a dentist, Public Health Figure and Public Administrator, she gained a lot of experience through years through working in projects and majorly due to volunteerism, including community outreach, organizational leadership, community awareness, and hygiene services.
Dr. Rowan holds a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from University of Khartoum.
