International Youth Federation announces Sharon Georgewill as Regional Director for Africa  

London, United Kingdom: In a statement issued today, the IYF Executive Board announced that Ms. Sharon Georgewill appointed as Regional Director for Africa.  

“Ms. Georgewill has the right skills and has come in the right place. He is results driven, and I have no doubt that he will make a great contribution to our operations in Africa.”  Said Ms. Krystel SANEH, IYF President. 

“We are delighted to welcome Ms. Georgewill on board to lead the expansion of the IYF’s presence in Africa, She has the utmost confidence that she will bring renewed energy and creative solutions to the African Region.” Said His Excellency Ambassador Saeed ZAKI, Secretary General of the International Youth Federation.

About her recent appointment, Ms. Georgewill said: “When you expose the youth to the right activities and skills, you see them make remarkable changes in the world."  

Ms. Sharon Georgewill is a young professional and Pan-Africanist, passionate about technology and development. From starting her career as a media manager for a startup, facilitating cross-cultural exchange experiences at the world's largest youth leadership development organization in various countries to managing developer communities in different cities across Africa, she has had several roles in other organizations delivering operational change. She using her growing expertise in applying technology solutions to managing projects for companies.

Ms. Georgewill holds B.Sc. in Plant Science and Biotechnology from University of Port Harcourt.
