London, United Kingdom: The President of the International Youth Federation, Julia BLOCHER has launched the second edition of the global call for nominations and applications of IYF senior positions in headquarters and regional administrations.
The Global Call aims to expand the pool of candidates for the positions of Vice President, Assistant Secretaries-General, Regional Directors, and other senior roles with a view to advancing gender parity and geographical diversity at the most senior leadership level in the field.
The process for this call will consider official nominations from both member and non-member states, organizational endorsements, personal recommendations, as well as individual applications. Nominating entities can nominate up to four individuals, including at least two female candidates.
- Eligible applicants need to have reasonable hands-on relevant experience related to youth development desirably at representational or technical level.
- Profiles that meet the minimum requirements will, following an internal review process, be included in the IYF pool, a database of potential candidates, which serves as a primary tool to source talent, and which complements the Secretary-General’s own search and consultation.
Please note that the Global Call pool is not a roster of pre-cleared candidates and only individuals whose profile is found suitable for specific posts may be invited to participate in a competitive selection process.
