Press Release: International Youth Federation appoints Dario CIRELLA of Italy as Under-Secretary-General

London, United Kingdom: The Executive Office of the International Youth Federation is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Dario Cirella of the Italian Republic as the new Under-Secretary-General for the IYF.

As Under-Secretary-General, Mr. Cirella will work closely with IYF leadership and partners to develop and implement strategies that advance the organization's vision and mission in order to scale up solutions and empower young people with the skills, opportunities, and resources to succeed in a challenging world. 

“I am passionate about youth empowerment and the goals of the International Youth Federation because I believe that young people are the key to building a more just, equitable, and sustainable world. We, as young people, need to be empowered with the skills, training, and creative opportunities to reach our full potential.” said Mr. Cirella.

He added: "The work that the organization does is incredibly important and relevant in today’s global agenda, and I am excited to contribute to its mission of empowering youth for a better world."

Mr. Cirella holds a bachelor’s degree Political Sciences and International Relations from Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi.
