London, 7 July 2024 – The International Youth Federation (IYF) is proud to announce the launch of the #LeadersTalk series, a new initiative aimed at inspiring and empowering the next generation of leaders. The series is a part of the Young Leadership Development Programme (YLDP) in Sudan and will feature prominent figures from various fields sharing their insights, experiences, and leadership journeys with young people.
To mark the 10th anniversary of the YLDP, #LeadersTalk events will be graced by special inspiring guests, allowing young leaders from around the world to participate and engage with one of the most influential leaders of our time.
"We are thrilled to launch the #LeadersTalk series as a platform to connect young leaders with inspiring mentors," said Elizabeth Sargeant, IYF Chief of Staff. "As we are celebrating YLDP 10th anniversary, a high standard will be set for the series which underscores our commitment to fostering leadership and positive change among youth."
The #LeadersTalk events include short sessions featuring a brief presentation by our guests, followed by a Q&A segment where participants from YLDP will have the opportunity to engage directly with our guests.
"The Young Leadership Development Programme in Sudan has been instrumental in shaping the leaders of tomorrow," said Lucy Miller, Assistant Secretary-General.
She added: "The #LeadersTalk series will further our mission by providing young leaders with direct access to the wisdom and experiences of esteemed global leaders."
